To come together studying God's word, that He may anoint our ears that we may hear, our heart that we my receive, and to anoint our mind that we may understand His words, His will, and His way, that we may be empowered for kingdom building.
Prayer
We pray that God will come in and manifest Himself to everyone. That He will set the captives free, elevate spirits, heal the sick, mend the broken hearted, encourage and lift up bowed down heads.

Biography of
Pastor Sharon Henderson
Pastor Sharon has served in various offices in the church since giving her life to the Lord. God birthed in her spirit the ministry of Women Walking In The Word November 2003. Since that time there has been monthly meetings, and a retreat twice a year.

On July 7, 2013 Pastor Sharon Henderson founded Pillar and Foundation of Truth in Newark, Ohio until God seen fit to move her into another part of the vineyard. 2023 Upon The Rock Ministries was birthed. Her heart's desire is to be a faithful servant of God and being a witness to souls in this dying world.
Her vision is to establish a multifaceted non-profit program called "A.R.I.S.E. Ministries"; Rest Inn for the Saints (Senior Living); A Refuge Inn for the Soul (youth unlimited) and a Restoration Inn for Self-care (whosoever will let them come)!

As the psalmist said, "This is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in our eyes" (Ps. 118:23).

Fun Facts about Pastor Henderson:
1. Mother of three children; 19 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
2. Loves learning the Word and playing dominoes for relaxation.
3. She has completed her MA in Theology/Counseling.
